We've been home with Ryan for a couple of days now and things are going well! We "roomed in" with him Monday night at the hospital and took care of him ourselves with some frequent calls to the nurses to make sure we were feeding him on schedule. He gave us quite a run that night - at first he slept for 4 hours, and then he fussed every hour until 3 in the morning. Luckily, once we got home, he started sleeping for 3-4 hours at a time most of the time. Phew! He mostly sleeps, eats, pees, and poos. What else is there to do?
(Sorry, side note - Backstreet Boys are in an Old Navy commercial. Whoa. Okay, back to the story....)
This weekend we're having lots of visitors who can't wait to hold him. And we're taking his newborn photos and our first family photos. We initially had this weekend scheduled for our maternity shoot - whoops! Stay tuned for beautiful photos!
