Sewing Fun

For Mother's Day, Brad and I went to Springfield to hang with my parents.  My mom got her long-arm quilting machine and we used it to quilt a small quilt!  It was really awesome and I can't wait to use it some more :)

On Sunday, we drove from Springfield to Sedalia to eat dinner with Brad's family.  I gave his mom her mother's day quilt:

While I was at my mom's, we started this top and I just finished it tonight.  We had a moda panel with the flower shapes and decided to layer them and raw edge applique them on the white squares.  Pretty easy peasy!
